ecoCOAT GmbH develops smart coating solutions and patented technologies for innovative products. The company specialises in a process that enables metals and polymers to be bonded to almost any surface under atmospheric conditions, without the use of chemicals, binders or vacuum technology. The technology enables bespoke functional and decorative coatings to be applied to a wide variety of materials, including metals, polymers, ceramics, glass, fibre-reinforced composites, textiles, wood, paper and leather. Potential applications include, amongst others, conductor and heating tracks, EMC shielding, solder joints, heat transfer and the targeted increase in coefficient of friction.

From coating development to series production

ecoCOAT develops customer specific coating solutions, from feasibility studies through coating development to implementation. The range of services comprises spot-applied and full-surface coatings, the design of coating systems, and contract coating for pre-production, small-batch and large-scale production runs. This results in high-performance solutions for efficient and resource-saving use.

Diamond fibre technology under the FloorZilla brand

Based on ecoCOAT technology, the diamond fibre was developed for professional floor care. Millions of microscopically small diamonds are bonded directly to the fibre. As a result, FloorZilla cleaning pads and mop covers remove even stubborn dirt, enabling effortless, faster and more thorough cleaning. The products can be used manually or with machinery and reduce both the physical effort required and resource consumption.
