Antriebssysteme Faurndau GmbH, a traditional manufacturer of innovative and high-quality drive systems for synchronous and asynchronous electric motors, is now part of the ATON group.
In addition to Antriebssysteme Faurndau GmbH, Krebs & Aulich GmbH, which is active in the same business area and has, thus far, been an investment of ATON's sister company, CETERUM-Holding GmbH, will be integrated into the ATON Group's engineering segment.
The current management, which made the Antriebssysteme Faurndau GmbH synonymous with high quality electric motors, will continue to run the company. “We are pleased to have found a long-term, technology-oriented family office as a partner for the future of our company.”
In addition to electric motors, the ATON Group's engineering segment includes the EDAG Engineering Group AG for the automotive sector.
In the 2020 financial year, the ATON Group generated sales of around EUR 1.5 billion in the fields of engineering, mining and med tech, and employed around 14,600 people.
